Design and illustration for an educational language game “La Patate chaude” (Eng. hot potato) that was created to diversify the learning of French vocabulary during school activities.

Thanks to the playful wordmark and central use of the illustration the game's identity is friendly and conveys a sense of fun and excitement. The speed is an important feature of the game so the design of the vocabulary cards had to enable flawless and trouble-free reading even at a fast pace, and in an atmosphere of increasing emotions. Therefore, a numbered list was added, the sides of the cards and their categories were clearly marked, and a typeface with high legibility was selected.
